Empower Classes have begun! If your child would like to join us please register at our check-in desk any Sunday we are in session. Classes run from September to June most Sunday mornings at 9:30am. We do not meet on any weekend that is also a Minisink Valley School Holiday, so our holiday schedule is as follows for the remainder of 2025:
No Classes On: October 12, November 30, December 20, December 27
Our Annual Advent Party will be on Sunday November 30th in the Fellowship Hall for any children who can attend, and our Christmas Pageant will be on Sunday December 14th!
Curriculum for the youngest members of our program is called Growing in Grace and Gratitude from the PCUSA. All our volunteers are thoroughly screened and background checked, and in addition, we share a common goal to communicate the boundless love of God to the best of our ability. We hold fast to a bible-based, Christ-centered, Spirit led approach to learning about God.

EMPOWERfamily is the vital driving force of our youth and childrens' programs. Without our parents', grandparents', and guardians' faithful support and participation, there is no Empower program. We are so thankful for each family that contributes to our whole church family. Classes run during the 9:30 service on Sundays. Children should be first checked in downstairs at our check-in desk, before going upstairs to the sanctuary for a brief whole church moment. After about 5-10 minutes, youth and children are dismissed to go to their classrooms. Parents and guardians must ensure their children are properly registered and checked in each Sunday. Please present your child's sticker to the teacher upon picking them up after the service.
EMPOWERyouth meets on Sunday mornings during the 9:30AM service. On Sunday mornings the youth begin upstairs before being dismissed to class. We have dynamic discussions on scripture, but sometimes we just talk about life too! This year the Middle and High School Youth classes will be engaging in a survey course on the New Testament called With All Boldness and Freedom from the PCUSA.
To register your youth please go to the check-in desk any Sunday we are in session.
Check the bulletin and get on our email list to be up to date on all our events for the coming year!
"We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds, but would keep His commands." Psalm 78:4-7
