EMPOWER is a ministry of Otisville Presbyterian Church that aims to minister directly to the youngest and possibly fastest growing population of our congregation, our young families and their children.
Mission: to empower the next generation to seek, find, love and serve the Lord with all our heart, as we come to know Him more every day.
Vision: to bring all generations of God's people together, from the tiniest infant to the wisest elder, to support, love, and serve eachother and our neighbors.
Visit us: on Sunday morning at 9:30am in the educational wing to learn more. (Please note, Empower follows the MV school schedule. This year's holiday schedule is as follows. Empower is off: 10/12, 11/29 (Advent Party), 12/27, 1/3, 1/17, 2/14 & 21, 3/28, 4/4, 5/30).
Our youngest group, EMPOWERkids, meets on Sunday during the 9:30am service. Families first check-in downstairs at the registration desk, and then go upstairs with the entire congregation. After the EMPOWERmoment, PreK-5th grades are dismissed to their classrooms. This year we are learning from Feasting on the Word, a 3 year curriculum from the PCUSA that is new to us his fall. We are so excited and looking forward to all God has for our little ones this year!
Our EMPOWERvolunteers are thoroughly screened and background checked, our hallways are constantly monitored, and in addition, we share a common goal to share the boundless love of God to the best of our ability.
EMPOWERfamily is the vital driving force of our youth and childrens' programs. Without our parents', grandparents', and guardians' faithful support and participation, there is no Empower. We are so thankful for each family member who contributes, whether it be through teaching, subbing, checking kids in, being part of the safety team, or even just showing up each Sunday, we appreciate you!

EMPOWERyouth meets on Sunday mornings during the 9:30AM service. This year, our Middle and High School Youth will be serving our congregation during our Kafe Hour!
After joining in upstairs for the beginning of the service, youth will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall, where they will have a brief Bible lesson before they begin preparations for our Kafe. They will continue to study New Testament Survey: With All Boldness and Freedom from the PCUSA.
Youth Group will also be gathering twice a month for a fun activity. Keep an eye out for these events as they are posted on our Enews and in the Bulletin.
EMPOWER hosts several events throughout the year including Youth Group activities, an Advent party, Christmas and Easter pageants, Youth led services, Operation Christmas Child, and more.
